STOVE & OVEN ISSUES

WON’T TURN ON

When an electric stove will not ignite, be sure the appliance is plugged in and that all circuit breakers are switched on. You need to check the pilot light for gas appliances. If the oven power cord is plugged in and the pilot light is on, then a different part will need to be fixed. The reason for the problem could be an infinite switch, surface element, burner igniter or broil and bake element.

BURNER DOESN’T HEAT

A stove or burner or oven without produce heat doesn’t do much good. An oven won’t heat if there’s a broken bake element or a malfunctioning oven sensor. Your burner will not turn on if an element is broken or when the burner switch or terminal block do not work. We are able to fix these issues in under 1-2 hours after our arrival.

PROGRAM ISSUES

It’s reasonable to assume the control board on a stove or oven is broken when the timer or program settings aren’t working. If that’s the case, we are able to replace control boards for LG, Sears, GE, KitchenAid, Kenmore and most other brands of stoves, ovens and ranges. We provide a warranty on all of the control panels and replacement parts we need for this type of stove repair service.

OVEN IS VERY HOT

You always want a hot oven. Although not too hot! When the heat is out of control, it could be because of an issue with the sensor or thermostat. Our appliance technicians know how to diagnose the reason for the problem and fix it. Be careful if troubleshooting this problem for fear of skin burns from the very high and totally unpredictable heat.

IGNITER WILL NOT LIGHT

A reoccurring stove issue is when an igniter glows but does not light. The cause is sometimes from either a broken safety valve, electronic control, surface igniter or sensor. We will determine if we are able to repair these parts or if we need to replace the parts.

DOOR DOES NOT OPEN

New self-cleaning models of ovens can have door problems. The door will not open after the cleaning cycle. We monitor the door latch, seal and thermostat to find out why the door will not open up and then complete the repair so we can correct the issue.
